Internet Solutions strengthens its African network with three ne

 

Internet Solutions (IS) has today announced the addition of three Points of Presence (PoPs) to its extensive network across the African continent.  The company’s new PoPs in Lesotho, Swaziland and Malawi enhances IS’s network accessibility and capability to better support businesses in Africa.

Commenting on the new PoPs, that are already in operation, Julian Sunker, IS COO said, “Internet Solutions is committed to increasing its infrastructure footprint to ensure it delivers the required connectivity and value-added services to local and international clients across the entire Continent ataffordable rates.”  .

The new PoPs give businesses access to the company’s high-capacity network, and demonstrate IS’s belief in the opportunities for networking growth on the Continent.  IS’s geographic footprint for MPLS services includes PoPs in Angola, Botswana (2), Ghana(4), Kenya(5), Mozambique(6), Mauritius, Namibia, Nigeria(15), South Africa(16), Tanzania(2),Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe (2), Malawi, Lesotho, Swaziland. In addition, the company services a further 14 other countries via network-to-network interfaces and partners.

“Telecommunications infrastructure is critical to enable IS to provide quality solutions and services to our clients across Africa”, said Sunker.  “To deliver on our African growth strategy, we will continue to invest in infrastructure assets, through fully owned build-outs as well as acquisitive investments, as appropriate for each market.
