The board of directors will actively promote the fibre industry and will dedicate some of their time to engage on behalf of industry at all levels of public and private sector. In addition to oversight of the day-to-day running of the Council.

“I look forward to bringing some of the lessons learnt from our infrastructure projects, both here in South Africa and elsewhere on the continent, to the table at the Council. It is clear that much work needs to be done to remove the current layers of bureaucracy, which are holding back wide-scale deployment of vital infrastructure”, says Doyle.
